A Beautiful Summer Day

Is there a better way to spend a hot summer Sunday than on the Sound? It was a gorgeous day to go boating with friends. We left from the Mauss Homestead headed under the Narrows and into Gig Harbor and then back via Day Island for a quick pit stop. Sunscreen conversations were a plenty, but the sunscreen sort of missed a few places as noted by the RED SKINNED girls at ML on Monday! The heat from our skin could provide heat for a small village! As Shelley put it before she called it a day: "God Bless Aloe Vera!"

Thank you Papa Mauss and Smellavision for making this fun adventure possible!

God bless aloe vera is right! :)

We had a fabulous time with Sir Timmy and his Queen from Monaco, it's probably the first time the ShelleyMichael has ever been graced with royalty!

I don't think we'll ever wash the seats again. Maybe we'll engrave signs that say "Sir Timmy and his Lady sat their burned heinys here"...

You two are the best!! :)

And I'm still mad at you for not letting me come on the boat with you. I called Bailey and we're launching an official boycott of you based on your canine discrimination.

Watch out - because we'll be marking our territory all over -starting with your pillows!
