Relay For Life of Tacoma 2005

What a ride! After 39 + hours at Relay getting ready, relaying, and cleaning up, I was exhausted. But it was so well worth it. We had record-breaking attendance - our best guess is about 5000 folks on Friday night. We also broke fundraising records for this event. So far the event is somewhere around $775,000 in the fight against cancer, with more $ to be counted
The Merrill Lynch team beat its fund raising goal by bringing in more than $32,000. Wow! Way to go Team Merrill.
Little miss Kaitlyn exceeded her personal goal. At the ripe old age of 12, Kaitlyn raised $1010 in the fight against cancer. Way to go Mini-K!!
I am so proud to have been a part of this event! We WILL find a cure for this dreaded disease!
